A few years ago, I was your typical office-worker: stressed out, uneven energy, overweight, and inconsistent complexion. Now I'm just your typical 28-year old urban hunter-gatherer on a quest to be healthy, and having a few adventures along the way. See my full bio.

If you read the new Sciam
If you read the new Sciam article (available online) Michael Shermer talks about the new reclassification of Neanderthal as a subclass of Homo Sapiens. Now called Homo Sapiens Neandertalensis. Even without this new classification it is a closer evolutionary relative than chimpanzee or other apes. It is well known that Neanderthals ate a diet consisting of almost exclusively wild game. In fact, they were nearly obligate carnivores. So we don't even have to go back millions of years to prove the efficacy of a diet rich in animal products!
