I've shopped at Whole Foods many, many times - eaten at Cracker Barrel once. I wish Cracker Barrel were closer to me.I cannot testify regarding Cracker Barrel but Whole Foods does extensive research regarding location, location, location. Very interesting article given the fact that Whole Foods CEO John Mackey describes himself as a classical liberal.

oh right. because look at all these people moving around in this country! people selling their homes, relocating....to the nearest whole foods or cracker barrells. astounding!
When people do relocate they
When people do relocate they chose communities that reflect their general culture and viewpoints. Retailers know that and they plan their stratefy accordingly. I think that is the point of the article.
